Volunteer Opportunities

We are in need of volunteers to make friendly visits to provide respite to care givers of seniors in our community. Some people have no option and need to get out for errands and shopping but cannot leave a loved one alone. We all need a break sometimes. Days and times are very flexible. This is such an important volunteer position and can make a real difference to both the care giver, the senior, and yourself. Everybody wins. If you are interested please call the center

We are also looking for people with a good driving history to take people to medical appointments. On occasion someone who needs to get to an appointment either around town or in Boston does not have any transportation. Medical volunteer drivers provide a service that can be vital to a senior’s health.
