Support Group Meetings

Wednesdays from 1:30-3pm— Bereavement Loss and Change Support Group. Support group for people who have experienced the death of a loved one and who want to understand the grieving process, find comfort, healing, and more meaning in their lives. Nancy Downey, Leader.

Low Vision: We will meet on September 1st. There will be no speaker. But I will update you on our September 11 Low Vision Summit. We will not start till 10:30 but feel free to come in at 10:00 as some of you do and I will have refreshments.

CLA: Please feel free to come to this very casual meeting on September 17th at 10:30. Take this opportunity to catch up with everyone as to how your summer was! Sharon will be in Portland Oregon moving one of her kids to college.

LOW VISION SUMMIT: The Danvers Senior Center is hosting a Low Vision Summit in an effort to connect low vision groups throughout the North Shore. This is an opportunity for low vision& blind seniors and group members to collaborate with other agencies and support groups, reconnect with old friends and make new ones. The purpose for bringing these groups together is to provide a sense of empowerment, of community, to share common experiences and goals for the future. We will have some interesting guest speakers, among them Dr. Mary Lou Jackson from Mass Eye and Ear. We will be providing a nice lunch (free) and entertainment. We will also have vendors representing various adaptive equipment companies attending. Please join us and keep your calendar open for Saturday, September 11th. Registration & coffee 9:30-10:00am.
