MONDAYS
Strong Women, Strong Bones
8:15-9:30 AM Carole Lane Cost: $4 per session, payable to instructor
Weight-bearing, resistance training based on the Tufts Medical Program.
Tai Chi 9:45-10:45 AM Johanna Hattendorf Cost: 24/$36 Six classes focusing
on gentle exercise designed to promote good balance, wellness and inner vitality.
Chair Yoga 1:30-2:30 PM Dot McKeen,
RYT Cost: $30/$45 Yoga is a wonderful way to reduce stress, relieve
muscular tension in neck, shoulders and back, increases flexibility,
balance and endurance as well as enhances your well being.
TUESDAYS
Spring Into Shape
9:00-10:00 AM Tracy Cammaro $30.00 Low impact aerobic custom tailored
to the fitness needs of the more mature fitness conscious individual.
Class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday. Purchase a “Passport
to Health” card and have it punched every session you attend.
Each card is good for 12 sessions. The card does not expire.
Watercolor – Intermediate & Beyond
9 AM-12:00 PM Jim Kerr Cost: $55/$75 This class is designed for
the Intermediate to Advanced watercolor painter. Take a journey
with Jim and learn various techniques in watercolor painting.
Intermediate Bridge-Plus 9:30-11:30
AM Patricia Muise Cost: $25/$35 Six classes will help the more
experienced bridge player with complex bridge situations.

Riskin Cost: $55/$75 This is for beginner and intermediate painters
to learn techniques and develop skills in oil painting.

Bereavement, Loss and Change
Support Group 1-2:30 PM, Nancy Downey No Cost A support group for
people who have experienced the death of a loved one and who want
to understand the grieving process, find comfort, healing, and
more meaning in their lives.
Expanding Possibilities through
Aging and Wisdom 2:30-4 PM, Nancy Downey No Cost
A support group for those who want to examine the many issues involved in creative
aging and building an independent, fulfilling life through discovering who
you are and who you can become.

FRIDAYS
Hatha Yoga 9-10:15
AM Barbara Younger, RYT Cost: $30/$45 Hatha Yoga, Basic postures—Learn
to stand tall! Students should bring a yoga mat, 2 beach blankets
or 2 large beach towels. Optional materials: 2 yoga blocks and 1
yoga strap or yoga belt.
Woodcarving 9 AM-12 Noon No Cost
Beginners and intermediates welcome. Participants will work on
their own projects. Please provide your own tools and supplies.
Knitting 1-4 PM No Cost All participants
work on their own projects. Members will help you over the tricky
points and help you turn out an item just like the photo in the
instructions. All are welcome!
Shakespeare’s Women 2:30-4:30
PM – Mary Balestraci Cost: $25/$35 This class will focus
on issues relating to the female characters in six of Shakespeare’s
plays. This course will center on group discussion of the plays,
with a focus on the way women are depicted. Plays include: Much
Ado about Nothing, The Merchant of Venice, the Taming of the Shrew,
Hamlet, King Lear and Macbeth.
Acrylic Painting 10 AM-1 PM Andrea
Maglio-Macullar Cost: $55/$75 Basic acrylic painting. Learn about
color, design and composition. Painting Still Life and from photos.
You will learn about new techniques and mediums. |
